We haven’t forgotten our staff that have been very hardworking and who have all successfully completed our retraining course, in fact they scored 100% on a Best for Guest secret customer survey. We have rewarded them with a pay rise from 1st January 2014 and we will now be adopting the new “the living wage” standard for all our employees who complete our training course.
Our Real Ales have proved to be very popular and we have been accredited by Cask Mark with a certificate of excellence. We were proud to be a member of the “Chester Green Real Ale Trail” and challenge, we look forward to taking part in the next one.
Our festive menus and updated menu for winter are now available. All of our menus offer a great choice at exceptional value and feature local ingredients, carefully prepared by our head chef and the dedicated kitchen team.
We have extended the sausage menu as a result of its popularity and our Scottish Sausage won a National Award at the National Sausage Awards 2012 the award was presented to J Beedham & Sons by THE PUB LANDLORD AL MURRAY. Johnny did a Sausage making demonstration recently at our Ladies Night
We are also happy to report that we have joined The Chester Green Real Ale Trail and offer a fine selection of 8 Real Ales. Every Monday Night we offer one of our ales at a special price from 10-20% less a pint and with free Cheese and Biscuits
